Researcher biography

Research

Ancient Material Culture, Greek and Roman Social, Cultural and Political History, Roman Children, Roman Art, Roman Law, Latin Epigraphy, Cultural Identities in the Ancient world, Pedagogical Approaches to teaching Classical Latin and Greek and Museum Studies. She is currently working on projects on The Representation of Children in Roman Art, The Socialisation of Children in the Roman World, and the pedagogical approaches to the teaching of Classical Languages. Dr McWilliam runs an International Museum Internship Program and Field School in Italy annually.
